Leidos is leading the way in climate data modernization, climate analytics, and decision support applications. The Office of the Chief Scientist in the Health and Civil Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Technology Specialist for climate science. The Technology Specialist will assist our technology development objectives, which includes work on contracts and for research and development, with supervision from software developers and senior Technology Specialists in the team. The Technology Specialist role requires self-motivation, initiative, determination, and an appetite to learn and adapt to evolving technology needs.
This is a fully remote position, with requirements for travel up to 10% of the time.
Due to contract requirements, must be a U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with software development tasks.
- Assist with technology administration processes
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma.
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Proficiency in basic word-processing software (e.g., Microsoft Word).
Preferred Qualifications
- Work experience in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated experience of working as part of a team.
- Experience with coding.
- Proficiency in basic spreadsheet and presentation software packages (e.g. Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint).
- Experience with specialized software.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $31,850.00 - $57,575.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
