It Specialist

Digital Strategy is seeking an IT Specialist to manage our company's IT infrastructure. This position will be primarily remote, but will require some on-site collaboration to pick up & work on company laptops. It's anticipated that the workload will be busier during peak periods of employee onboarding/offboarding.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, maintain and monitor Microsoft 365 IT environment (AzureAD, Intune, SharePoint, etc.)
• Set up and manage user accounts and permissions across MS365 Infrastructure
• Configure Microsoft Teams environment and provide operational support
• Configure permission policies and manage assignment (direct and group based)
• Responsible for IT system upgrades and maintenance
• Ensure data security and integrity by implementing appropriate backup and security measures.
• Responsible for IT support during employee onboarding with laptop configuration, shipment, and day 1 setup
• Responsible for IT support during employee offboarding with laptop collection, user data backup, user account and laptop clean-up
• Responsible for troubleshooting various IT issues, including hardware, software, and networking problems.
• Procure and maintain IT assets inventory
• Collaborate with Microsoft and other vendors for technical support
• Provide training and guidance to employees on the use of IT systems and software
• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures
• Support project team in infrastructure configuration and development of applications using power platforms

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• 5-7 years in an IT support role or similar position
• Proven knowledge of computer systems, hardware, software, and networking
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving IT issues
• Proficiency in Windows 11 professional operating systems and Microsoft 365 Infrastructure
• Basic understanding of PowerShell scripting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
• Due to federal guidelines, US Citizenship is required for this role.
