The WIC Specialist II is responsible for providing support, resources, education and program information, advocacy and services to individuals and families in Clallam County. This class specification lists the major duties and requirements of the job and is not all-inclusive.
This position is anticipated to last through June of 2030. However, the duration of the position may be extended based on funding and program need.
Education and Experience Required
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Customer Service: Strong customer service skills are important for interacting with WIC participants.
- Proficiency in data entry and record-keeping.
- Strong time management skills are required.
- Three years of experience providing direct services to individuals and families; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
