Vista Paint Corporation is currently looking for a detail-oriented Technical Support Specialist to contribute to our Technical Support efforts. The ideal candidate will have retail and manufacturing experience. You will be part of a synergistic Information Technology Team and will be tasked with contributing your best work to a world-class organization. Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Configuration and setup of desktops and laptops. Thin clients, network printers, cell phones, POS hardware, and other computer equipment, as necessary.
- Troubleshoot Internet circuit connectivity issues and work with various ISPs to restore services.
- Basic understanding and troubleshooting skills of TCP/IP, DNS, and RDP protocols.
- Demonstrate practical knowledge of working with and supporting the following platforms:
- Microsoft Windows desktop, server, and Mac Operation Systems.
- Microsoft Remote Desktop Services.
- Experience creating domain user accounts and resetting passwords.
- Microsoft Office 365 and Outlook.
- Cloud-based Phone Systems: Configure accounts, extensions, and set up VoIP phones.
- Antivirus software, ERP platforms, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Apple iOS and Android OS: The ability to support both platforms with new cell phone setups, applications, backups, and data migration.
- Network printer setups and maintenance.
- Security camera and DVR equipment.
- Respond to support requests pertaining to software, hardware, and network connectivity.
- Log all issues and resolutions into the help desk tracking system.
- Support team members with the use of computer equipment by providing necessary training and instruction, either in person or remotely.
- Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles.
· Excellent verbal communication skills.

· Strong process skills and knowledge.
· Experienced with LAN/WAN environments of an enterprise nature.
· Works well independently and in team situations.
· Light travel via company car to store locations for various projects and support needs.
· Perform light lifting 50lbs.
Requirements
Education/Experience:
· 2-3 years customer service experience, preferably in a technological environment or retail.
· Currently enrolled in a network or technology degree program, or previous AS or BS degree.
· Network+, A+ or similar certifications are a plus.
· FortiGate Firewall experience – Nice to have and would be a plus.
· Meraki and Cisco Switches experience - Nice to have and would be a plus.
