If so, Sunair Co. is seeking a dynamic sales professional like you to grow our New Jersey territory. We are a well-established industrial pump distributor and service center about to celebrate our 50th year in business. We have an excellent product portfolio, solid base of business, and an open sales territory with strong organic growth opportunity – come help us open some doors!
Core Job Responsibilities
- Consult with customers to select efficient, safe, and reliable equipment solutions for their pump, gas compressor, mechanical seal, and lubrication needs.
- Manage sales and service growth with new and existing customers in diverse industries including chemical processing, food & beverage, pharma, industrial water & wastewater, general industry, pulp & paper, oil & gas refining, pipelines & terminals, quarries, and renewable energies.
- Develop and execute territory growth plans for key and target accounts, markets, and products.
- Deliver compelling product presentations and persuasive, professionally written proposals.
- Supervise commissioning and troubleshooting of new and existing equipment.
- Coordinate proposal and project preparation with our inside sales and service groups.
- Leverage opportunities to enhance product and industry knowledge.
- Success in the first year would mean 25% growth of existing sales revenue and 4 new accounts per month.
Your Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor of Engineering or other technical or business degree.
- 2-5 years of successful sales experience or equivalent experience in any of the industries we serve.
- Disciplined time management and organizational skills.
- Experience using Hubspot CRM, Traverse ERP, and digital sales prospecting tools [i.e. Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Seamless.ai].
- Experience working with pumps, rotating equipment, repair services, mechanical seals, and / or lubrication products is preferred.
- Industrial certifications, such as PSAP, CMRP, CLS, MLA, MLT, etc., would be a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $92,000.00 per year
