About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to join the Trust and Safety team. As a TPM, you will report to the T&S Technical Program Management Lead who works closely with the Head of Trust and Safety to identify core priorities and cross-functional initiatives. You drive collaboration and will work closely with all T&S teams, including Product Policy, Product, Operations and Risk and Response, as well as cross-functionally across USDS.
This role may be exposed to harmful content as part of their core day-to-day functions, as well as in project work; in response to escalation requests; or by chance. Some content viewed my violate our community guidelines, which include but are not limited to bullying; hate speech; child abuse; sexual assault; torture; bestiality; self-harm; suicide; and murder
In order to enhance collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, among other things, at this time, our organization follows a hybrid work schedule that requires employees to work in the office 3 days a week, or as directed by their manager/department. We regularly review our hybrid work model, and the specific requirements may change at any time.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic support and coordination to the leadership team and different functions of the USDS Trust and Safety organization
- Take ownership of cross-functional T&S programs leveraging your expertise including project initiation, planning, and implementation to deliver the expected result
- Proactively identify the potential risks and coordinate cross-functional resources to solve problems
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree with 5 years experience in cross-functional program management and working in the Trust and Safety field
- Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving
- Excellent teamwork, strategic and courageous leadership skills
- Your ability to work in a high tempo environment, adapt, respond to day-to-day challenges of the role.
- Your resilience and commitment to self-care to manage the emotional demands of the role.

Job Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $88920 - $152000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
