Job description

Overview:

Evolver is seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Program Lead to spearhead an investment operations outsourcing project. The Technical Program Manager will play a critical role in overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of technical aspects of an enterprise investment outsourcing project, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.

Hybrid based in San Francisco, CA or Boston, MA

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive program plans encompassing multiple workstreams and project teams.
  • Coordinate and align efforts across cross-functional teams, including project managers, business/technology analysts, developers, QA, downstream consumers, vendor, and business stakeholders.
  • Drive the implementation of technical solutions to optimize business goals, streamline processes, and mitigate risks.
  • Lead the identification and mitigation of program risks and dependencies, proactively addressing issues to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Facilitate communication and foster transparency across workstreams, providing regular updates and progress reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Champion best practices in program management, aligning processes and controls across program workstreams and project teams.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including investment operations, IT, finance, and external vendors to define project scope, objectives, success criteria, and deliverables with consideration for regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for technical discussions, issue resolution, and escalations related to the technical aspects of the outsourcing project.
  • Conduct regular status meetings and provide timely updates to stakeholders on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Manage constraints and resource allocation to achieve project objectives within defined timelines and parameters.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages knowledge sharing, innovation, and professional growth.
  • Lead post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to capture insights, identify areas for improvement, and drive best practices across future initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • 15 years of experience in leading Technical Programs or projects, in investment operations or financial services industry.
  • 10 years of program management with a track record of successfully delivering complex Technical Programs on time and within budget.
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent of 8 years experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of investment operations, IT, and outsourcing models.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (JIRA, Confluence), agile methodologies, and risk management techniques.
  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Experience working with offshore teams and managing distributed project teams is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a commitment to driving results and exceeding expectations.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
