Role Summary
Internship Term:
Rivian internships are experiences optimized for student candidates. To be eligible, you must be an undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited program during the internship term with an expected graduation date between December 2024 through June 2026.

The Rivian Technical Program Management organization is responsible for managing programs from concept to mass production through leadership of cross-functional teams in the planning and execution of technical development and issues resolution. As an Intern in the Technical Program Management organization, you will have the opportunity to collaborate across multiple stakeholders including Engineering, Vehicle Line, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Finance and have a direct impact on the success of our development programs. Responsibilities

• Support tracking and reporting of program Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
• Support Vehicle Line teams in communication of overall program timing and creation of detailed development plans to achieve key program milestones
• Support Engineering teams in leading cross-functional issues review and resolution
• Support development of key metric tracking an analysis tools
• Provide regular cadence status updates on key tasks

Qualifications

• Must be currently pursuing a bachelors, masters, or PhD degree at an accredited university
• Actively pursuing a degree or one closely related in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience working in and/or leading teams
• Clear and concise communication skills and ability to provide regular cadence status updates on key tasks
• Experience with basic level navigation of 3D CAD modeling (CATIA) and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) not required but applicable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite required

Pay Disclosure
Salary Range/Hourly Rate for Internships: The range of pay for internships is 25.00-51.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on location, and other factors permitted by law.
Rivian provides robust wellness benefits, and a medical insurance package for interns, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
