Technical Manager
About the Role
Conduent is seeking a Technical Manager who will be responsible for managing the automatic fare collection systems and security compliance for the systems.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with client, business teams and technical teams for smooth operations of the transit agency automatic fare collection systems.
- Ensure compliance of applications and processes to Conduent
- Participates in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements. Identifies and evaluates new technologies for implementation.
- Creates/maintains documentation for software functionality.
- Define and implement best practices operations and maintenance of automatic fare collection system.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in managing automatic fare collection systems.
- Strong experience in managing compliance and security audits for transit agency system.
- Experience in handling embedded devices such as ticket vending machines, software maintenance.
- Ability to understand customer needs and translate them to technical solutions.
- Very good communication skills with non-technical and technical teams.
- Manage backlogs and intakes for technical teams to implement.
- Strong knowledge of security standards such as PCI and audits for the same.

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $91,437 - $118,750
