About this Position:
Responsible for creating and updating documents related to Regulations and Global Standard Verification inspections, which require managing systems, procedures, conducting analysis, tracking, reporting results, and certifying compliance regulations required per each destination.
Responsibilities include:
- Act as a liaison between assigned area and departments and plants on quality related items.
- Ensure regulation correlation between Global Legality Inspection Planning (GLIP) and Inspections Standards updated.
- Support in the creation/revision of department procedures, forms, work instructions, and documents as needed.
- Study impact of change points and communicate to team.
- Training: Maintain and manage (Orientation and People Quest)
- ISO Quest maintenance, assignments, personnel groups
- Overall QMS lead for the Division: Updating Inspection Std. Master, researching QMS documents for support.
- Monthly complete a QMS scorecard, and records retention.
- Support the Quality Division for NCR’s and Audit activity.
- Responsible for Problem summary tracking, change point control process, FIC’s, and FIC viewer systems.
Who we are seeking:
Required Work Experience:
- 0-4 years of relevant experience, based on education.
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/Associates degree in a related field or equivalent related experience.
Desired skills:
- Knowledge of manufacturing environment as it relates to New Model, Safety, Quality and Delivery.
- Ability to present to varying audiences, conduct routine analysis and summarize.
- Strong interpersonal skills, project management skills, and skilled in Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage systems and be able to utilize knowledge to research and investigate issues as they arise.
- Ability to utilize the information available to make decisions and set direction related to QMS issues.
Additional Position Factors:
- Ability to travel, both domestic and international
- 5-10 hours of overtime per week possible
- Weekend and Holiday work may be required.
- 50/50% Standing vs. sitting.
- Shutdown work may be required.
