Our team is seeking an experienced paint defect analyst in the automotive paint industry to join our team in Fremont, OH!

Schedule:

• Day Shift: Monday to Friday (8 hour schedule)

Pay:

• $60,000-$70,000 per year.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting root cause analysis to identify paint defect origins in the automotive paint sector;
• Perform inspection/audits within the paint shop to identify and troubleshoot paint contamination(s);
• Review and test new material entering the automotive paint shop;
• Present weekly findings to clients and within the organization;
• Report on corrective/preventative measures for paint quality inspections;
• Perform trials and process Inspections for paint and related materials;
• Support task buy-offs during shutdown periods, including but not limited to industrial support and sanitation procedures;
• Abide by all company and site policies, procedures, and health & safety practices;
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Problem-solver with the ability to use root cause analysis;
• A minimum of 2 years of quality assurance (paint manufacturing) experience;
• Knowledge of paint defect analysis procedures;
• Strong communication and organizational skills;
• Experience in computer programs (Google, Microsoft, etc.)
• Associates Degree or High School Diploma;
• Ability to reliable commute to Fremont, OH for work.
