Baerlocher, located in Cincinnati, Ohio are seeking a meticulous and skilled Chemical Quality Control Analyst I/II to join our team. As a vital member of our quality control department, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of our chemical products through a variety of analytical techniques and tests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Execute finished good quality control testing in a thorough and timely manner
- Responsible for adhering to the Quality Management System
- Assists staff in developing new test methods
- Manages and conducts product development projects with support from senior technical staff
- Cleans, maintains and calibrates Quality Lab equipment as needed
- Prepares samples for internal testing
- Performs testing as needed for production
- Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in-process samples, and finished products using various analytical techniques and instruments
- Ensure compliance with established quality standards and specifications
- Perform troubleshooting and investigation of out-of-specification results, documenting and reporting findings
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and precision in test results
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality-related issues and implement corrective actions
- Interpret and analyze data, preparing comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to Chemical Quality analysis
Candidate Qualifications:
- Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills along with attention to detail
- Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Understands and adheres to the ISO and Quality Management programs
Education/Relevant Industry Experience:
- 3+ years in a chemical lab or Associate degree in Chemistry or Biology
