Chemical Quality Lab Analyst

Baerlocher, located in Cincinnati, Ohio are seeking a meticulous and skilled Chemical Quality Control Analyst I/II to join our team. As a vital member of our quality control department, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of our chemical products through a variety of analytical techniques and tests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Execute finished good quality control testing in a thorough and timely manner
• Responsible for adhering to the Quality Management System
• Assists staff in developing new test methods
• Manages and conducts product development projects with support from senior technical staff
• Cleans, maintains and calibrates Quality Lab equipment as needed
• Prepares samples for internal testing
• Performs testing as needed for production
• Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in-process samples, and finished products using various analytical techniques and instruments
• Ensure compliance with established quality standards and specifications
• Perform troubleshooting and investigation of out-of-specification results, documenting and reporting findings
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and precision in test results
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality-related issues and implement corrective actions
• Interpret and analyze data, preparing comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to Chemical Quality analysis

Candidate Qualifications:

• Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills along with attention to detail
• Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Understands and adheres to the ISO and Quality Management programs

Education/Relevant Industry Experience:

• 3+ years in a chemical lab or Associate degree in Chemistry or Biology
