Job Responsibilities include:
- Follow established QA processes for manual testing.
- Develop expertise in applications/modules assigned for testing.
- Work with Agile Team Members to create Test Plans for assigned projects.
- Work with Agile Team Members to successfully complete Sprints and produce on-time releases.
- Determining time estimates and testing priorities
- Documenting and reporting issues
- Tracking issue resolution
Qualifications:
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Bachelors / Masters in any field
- Strong analytical skills
- Basic SQL knowledge and Database knowledge
- An understanding of Multiple Software testing methodologies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Role/Responsibility
• Review and analyze Business Requirements to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks
• Contribute towards on-going migration tasks in the areas of Maintainability, Performance, and High Availability
• Create the test scripts including the description of requirement, prerequisites, test parameters, test steps, test data, and expected result
• Work in close collaboration with the engineering team and stakeholders to provide the best possible product
• Review and audit all existing test cases/plans and enhance wherever needed
• Assist with maintenance efforts for current automation based upon upcoming projects/releases
• Responsible for the creation and maintenance of test plans, test data and test automation
• Drive testing through all phases of the development life cycle to ensure delivery of high-quality products
• Identify and document software defects, using the bug tracking system like JIRA, and report defects to the responsible team like development team or business team to start working on the issue
• Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes to make sure all the reported bugs are fixed
• Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality
