Team Lead, Strategic Growth
We're looking for an experienced and motivated leader to join our Strategic Growth team. You will build, mentor, and coach a team of Strategic Growth managers based in North America who are responsible for collaborating with the account management organization globally and increasing the share-of-wallet of existing merchants by scoping, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals. You are comfortable streamlining team operations, encouraging effective collaboration, and engaging with executives at all levels. As a critical role in the continued success of our operations, you will help to iterate our culture and build an amazing team environment that will create future leaders for Adyen.
What you'll do
- Motivate team members, encourage creativity, collaboration and feedback culture while understanding training needs.
- Provide coaching and guidance through brainstorming, sharpening ideas and challenging on deals/projects
- Unlock full potentials of your team members through supporting skills development, owning their career and embodiment of the Adyen formula
- Support setting individual and team goals in alignment with Adyen commercial strategy
- Collaboration with the EMEA Team Lead on developing the Strategic Growth global strategy
- Expand the positioning of Strategic Growth within the Account Management and wider Adyen organization
Who you are
- 4+ years experience in managing and scaling commercial teams
- 7+ years experience in business development, consulting, account management, or a related field
- An energetic self-starter with a proven commercial edge, entrepreneurial track record and strong negotiation skills
- A natural networker with sharp internal relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
- Excited to lead and manage time-sensitive, cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial and collaborative environment
- An excellent communicator and team player with strong management skills and technical aptitude
- Full professional proficiency in English
- Ability to identify and build a key network within the organization.
