The Role: As Team Lead, you will effectively lead your team to achieve successful shifts, create an awesome guest experience, and increase sales while maximizing profit.

Description

Caffeine powers the people, and Team Leads inspire their teams provide the caffeine. Team Leads help their teams achieve success through understanding the plan for their shift, rallying their team around daily goals, leading by example, working side-by-side, coaching, training, giving feedback, and ensuring operational consistency with Fairgrounds standards.

In addition to following Fairgrounds standards and procedures within your assigned store, principal responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Meeting all Teammate expectations job expectations.
• Ensuring shift readiness by utilizing Station and Shift Checklists.
• Prioritizing tasks effectively and making adjustments to the plan to minimize bottlenecks.
• Upholding guest service standards.
• Executing local store marketing initiatives.
• Verifying vendor orders for quality and accuracy.
• Managing speed of service in line with target.
• Managing food quality, cost, and waste in line with target
• Communicating results, needs, and feedback clearly and timely.
• Attend store leadership meetings.
• Achieve monthly personal and shift goals.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• 12-18 months successful shift leader experience at a specialty coffee shop, quick-serve or fast-casual restaurant.
• Understand that their success is based on the success of their teams, and aspire to make the people around them better than they are.
• Be comfortable counting inventory accurately in order to assess on-hand par levels and ordering needs, reviewing sales performance vs projections in order to manage labor.
• Be committed to existing operational and training systems.
• Have strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated time management, organizational, and planning skills.

HOURS:

• Full time/Part Time
• 20 - 40 hours / week

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
