Salary: Non-Exempt, Hourly Pay Rate
Location: Conover, NC
Hours: Mon. – Thur. from 7a – 4:30p and Fri. 7a – 11a. Overtime as required.
Description
The Quality Analyst is responsible for analyzing data to understand why problems occur.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze data to understand why problems occur.
- Work to review and design specifications for measurement, to test and validate data with reliability and accuracy.
- Work with team to address issues and solve problems.
- Perform internal audits of existing work.
- Create reports about results of tests and reviews.
- Build strategies for continuous Improvement.
- Note common internal issues.
- Evaluate employee performance by using data.
- Report on findings.
- Communicate with internal and external teams to ensure timely and effective problem resolution and go-forward action plans.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience and Other Qualifications:
- Must be able to read/write English.
- Must be strong in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills are a must.
- Strong communication skills is a must to convey information in both written and oral form.
- Strict attention to detail is a must.
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
- Must have your own reliable transportation.
- Must be able to sit for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
- Must be able to walk concrete floors up to 8 hours per day, as needed.
- Must be able to do hand fine manipulation for computer entry.
- Must be able to work Weekends and Overtime.
- Must be able to wear required PPE such as Safety Glasses and closed-toe/closed-heel shoes.
- Must be able to adhere to all Safety Policies and Procedures to prevent injuries to yourself and others.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

- Climate-controlled furniture manufacturing plant. Concrete floors.
