Job Description
Our Quality Assurance Product Analysts play an extremely critical role in the company by supporting the design, development, testing, installation, and ongoing support of Payzer products.
As a Quality Assurance Product Analyst, you will be responsible for working with our user experience designers, product managers and software engineers to ensure that you understand the design and development of new and existing products so that you can test functionality within our sprint release windows to ensure flawless execution of product releases. Excellent knowledge and experience in test planning, test creation, test execution, test results analysis and reporting. Extensive experience in System testing, Functional testing, Integration testing, Unit Testing, Sanity Testing, Data Driven Testing, Regression testing, End-to-End Testing, GUI testing, Back-end testing, White Box testing, in different stages of QA process.
You will work to:
- Implement and execute test scripts, frameworks, and testing tools as directed. This includes both legacy functionality (regression) and current sprint deliverables.
- Understand requirements, user stories, and use cases to test scripts and prepare for production implementation.
- Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure consistent project execution
- Develop common Test Classes and Methods for reusability, handle test libraries and improve the Test Framework
- Analyze user stories /use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
- Identify and report issues through Jira
- Work closely with the development team to improve existing products and work on new products
- Follow-through and conduct pre and post release implementation testing
- Participate in design sessions to ensure comprehension of new functionality
- Participate in the build and execution of testing scenarios for Online and Mobile applications
- Document and maintain testing procedures and processes
- Support the installation and flawless execution of Payzer products
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in a software testing role
- Must be able to live and work in Charlotte, North Carolina (our offices are near Ballantyne)
- Experience with Selenium, or other testing frameworks a plus
- Experience with QuickBooks will be a plus
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Tech savvy
- Strong analytical skills
- Expert in Microsoft Excel
- Strong written and oral communication
- Detail-oriented, creative, and curious
