The firm has a strong focus on technical development, work life balance (circa 55 hours in busy seasons), complex and exciting projects to work on to name a few! Currently, they’re looking for a Talented Tax Senior or Manager with a focus on Real Estate Tax to join their team in Chicago. Typically, a day in the team would involve; Oversee overall client experiences including deadline management/client expectations , Calculate tax effects of transactions, conduct technical tax research, and manage tax partner expectations , Operate in a dynamic environment, coach staff/seniors/managers, and share your knowledge and experience with the entire team to name a few.
For a managerial position, a CPA , JD or potentially even EA would be required. As well as a practical understanding of tax credits and incentives including 1031 exchanges, 704(b) allocations, 704 (c) allocations, and target capital account allocations.
The firm runs a hybrid schedule, 50/50 between home and in office working.
