How you will contribute:
- Assembling tax returns, including transmission to client and government
- Assisting the tax department (scan tax documentation, filing, etc.)
- Tax work-flow management
- E-filing tax returns & extensions and monitoring of tax acceptances
- Assisting with report processing & front desk reception duties as required
- Providing administrative support to partners and practice management teams
- Composing and edit letters, memos, meeting minutes and other firm correspondence
- Tax due date management and delivery of tax deliverables
- Assisting in other administrative functions (filing, scanning, binding, ordering supplies, etc.)
- Close attention to detail (must be able to verify numerical accuracy)
- Must work well in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, manage shifting priorities and handle numerous time-sensitive projects with multiple deadlines
- Excellent grammar & proofreading skills
- Problem-solving & resolution ability
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to adopt new technologies and processes and recommend best practices to implement the use of new technologies and processes
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- 3 years or more of administrative experience in a professional services environment
- Completed coursework from an accredited college/university or Associates Degree
