The Central Processing Specialist will receive, distribute, and process mail received by the Credit Union. This includes the distribution of inter-office correspondence and posting member transactions requested through mail. This position will also be responsible for opening new accounts through in support of other Credit Union departments.

The Central Processing Specialist will receive, distribute, and process mail received by the Credit Union. This includes the distribution of inter-office correspondence and posting member transactions requested through mail. This position will also be responsible for opening new accounts through in support of other Credit Union departments.
Essential Functions and Position Duties
- Collect mail from the post office and distribute throughout the Kendall headquarters.
- Sort walk-in mail and distribute throughout the Kendall headquarters.
- Prepare inter-office mail and send with the carrier each morning.
- File closed account folders and other member information.
- Pull titles from Paid Loan report and send to Lending.
- Ensure accounts are appropriate file maintained for returned mail.
- Accurately process member transactions through mail to include payments, deposits and transfers.
- Work system clean-up reports related to incorrect or incomplete addresses.
- Validate and perform file maintenance on accounts as requested by members.
- Establish new accounts in support of other Credit Union departments (e.g. Member Outreach, deceased settlement).
- Resolve member, employee and branch issues regarding mail deposits.
- Prepare Verification of Deposit forms and other letters as requested by members.
- Prepare and mail address change verification letters.
- Image account documentation received via interoffice mail.
- Audit and review daily Symforms and documents saved to imaging by frontline staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

- Associate's Degree - Preferred
- 4-7 Years of Financial Services Experience
