SalarySeasonal Tax Preparer during the 2023 tax season.
Our San Jose office completes approximately 1,400 individuals and 400 entities during the tax season. The firm’s main focus is on Tax planning, and preparation. We do business advisory, tax representation and bookkeeping as well. We are looking to fill a back end preparer or reviewer position. We are looking to fill this role soon to properly train and acclimate the candidate to our firm and processes. We are looking for individuals who can work independently and have experience with a variety of tax returns. This is a seasonal position but would be open to full time for the right fit. Our office focuses on a balanced work approach with minimal expected overtime during the season, and Fridays off during the off season.
We are looking for the following individual:
· This position must be a licensed tax professional (CTEC, EA)
· Knowledgeable with technology, specifically Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Familiarity with professional tax and accounting software (Lacerte Preferred)
· Organized, professional and friendly
· Detail oriented
· Must be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
· Reliable, responsible and trustworthy

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday during the tax season
- Occasional Saturday during the tax season
- Monday to Thursday during the off season
- Flexibility to work off site as approved
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
