El Triunfo Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Bilingual Tax Preparer. As a key member of our Accounting and Tax Firm in Santa Ana, CA, you will play a crucial role in assisting Hispanic business owners with their tax preparation needs. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish, possess strong analytical skills, and have a deep understanding of tax regulations.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct tax interviews with clients to gather relevant financial information for tax return preparation.
2. Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current tax laws.
3. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
4. Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate and up-to-date tax filings.
5. Collaborate with other team members to share knowledge and best practices within the firm.
6. Assist in identifying potential tax-saving opportunities for clients.
Requirements:
1. Bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish.
2. Previous experience in tax preparation and a strong understanding of tax regulations.
3. Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
6. Familiarity with tax software and related tools.
7. CPA or Enrolled Agent certification is a plus.
8. Prior experience working with Hispanic business owners is highly desirable.
