Job Details
Client-Centric Role: Work directly with clients, firm partners, and team members, assuming full responsibility for complex assignments.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise duties and assignments, personnel training, and multiple engagements simultaneously.
Efficiency and Process Improvement: Assist Partners in developing more efficient processes and procedures.
Engagement Management: Responsible for personnel scheduling, compliance with due dates, and monitoring time budgets.
Firm Development: Assist partners with practice development and firm management, communicating firm policies and technical information to tax personnel.
Skills/Abilities:
Effective Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Client Relationship Building: Ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
Tax Expertise: Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses, research technical tax issues.
Analytical and Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Leadership: Be a team leader, train, supervise staff, and work independently.
Qualifications:
Professional Credentials: Active CPA with a minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance work.
Educational Background: Minimum bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
Experience: Experience working in a professional office is preferred but not required.
Legal Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America.
Flexibility: Ability to work overtime during certain seasonal periods.
Travel:
This role may entail local travel between our various locations.
