Manager, Corporate Tax - Financial Services, Real Estate (Multiple Positions)

Manager, Corporate Tax - Financial Services, Real Estate (Multiple Positions), PwC US Tax LLP, Dallas, TX. Advise clients on their local tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners. Support clients with the complex national tax environment related to management of operational tax risks, and tax implications of investing in different jurisdictions. Participate in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new and existing clients. Help clients meet their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business. Supervise and coach employees.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax or a related field, plus 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.

In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, or a related field, plus 3 years of related work experience.

Certifications required: CPA or foreign equivalent, Enrolled Agent, or a Member of the Bar.

Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:

• Advising clients on their state and local tax affairs in any one or more of the following areas: Real Estate, income and franchise tax, payroll and employment tax, credits and incentives, and indirect tax ;
• Working with new and existing tax technologies, along with experimenting with tax digitization solutions like Creating Bots with Robotic Process Automation software to facilitate in 1065 Partnership and 1120 Corporate Tax Returns;
• Using pricing tools to provide point of view on pricing strategies; and
• Analyzing large and complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools to provide insight to clients.

80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.

Domestic and/or International Travel up to 20% is required.
