Job Responsibilities
- Provide excellent client facing service to multi-state & multi-national companies in relation to their global indirect Tax Technology needs and requirements, including tax systems implementation, transaction analysis, business requirements analysis
- Lead or assist in preparing responses to client proposal requests; prepare and deliver Sales and Use Tax (SUT) and/or Value Added Tax (VAT) Technology training to clients
- Presentations aimed at external and internal audiences
- Support practice marketing and business development efforts
- Identify, document, and recommend client business requirements for implementing VAT/sales and use tax compliance processes and system improvements
- Assist Partners in engagement administration, engagement management and client billing, and to identify and develop new and existing client relationships and internal relationships
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, M.I.S. (Management Information Systems) or a related course of study from an accredited college/university
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in a professional services or corporate environment
- Minimum 5 years' of recent experience with NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics (FSC,BC,GP), and Intacct (or similar ERP applications) specifically with the tax, A/R, AP/PO, and/or G/L module
- Minimum 5 years' of recent experience in implementing and supporting indirect tax calculation solutions – Vertex and Avalara preferred
- Understanding of key indirect tax processes and data drivers while possessing a broad industry background including retail, manufacturing and technology
- Ability to travel 10% or more of the time
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensed CPA preferred

Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. Compensation Range for this position: $160,000-$200,000 plus generous bonus package. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location.
