Responsible for US Domestic tax Compliance and tax reporting for the company and its affiliated entities. Possesses knowledge of company tax and tax law. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge.Job Description
Core Responsibilities
Tax Compliance
- Preparation of Federal income tax returns for multiple reporting entities, including corporate and partnership returns as well as M-1 adjustments and supporting documentation/workpapers.
- Liaise with third party (lower tier) partners, prepare taxable income forecasts, capital account and tax basis maintenance.
- Responds to straight forward correspondence with governmental revenue bodies under little or no supervision.
Tax Reporting
- Preparation of quarterly and annual US GAAP reporting for income taxes for the domestic businesses
- Prepare and maintain income tax calculations.
- Assist with the ongoing maintenance of US GAAP tax provision software (ONE Tax Source Provision)
Other Responsibilities:
- Investigates initial tax issues.
- Ad-hoc project work including assistance with tax audits, tax basis calculations, depreciation projects, and fixed assets.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
