Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Mailing and copying tax returns.
- Maintaining tax return files.
- Prepare miscellaneous excise tax returns.
- Prepare and organize documentation for sales tax audits.
- Prepare journal entries.
- Assist with month end account reconciliation.

Requirements
Job Qualifications – Education and Experience
General office environment requiring ability to:
- High School diploma
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in a tax or accounting position.
- Some experience with computerized accounting and tax software.
- Certifications - NO
- Intermediate MS Word and Excel skills.
General office environment requiring ability to:
- stand, walk, sit for extended periods of time
- speak and listen to others in person and over the phone
- use keyboard and read from computer screen and reports
- lift up to 15 lbs.
- Must be able to speak and read English
- High school level math skills
- Ability to read and understand (in English) legal code regarding taxation issues
