Tasting Room / Wine Bar Associate

Belle Fiore Winery is looking for Tasting Room and Wine Bar associates to serve wines and food pairings in a fast paced environment. This includes hosting guests upon arrival and by phone as well as supporting other servers. We are always evolving and growing so this is a work your way up kind of company. We are looking for candidates with a desire to learn about our wine, who can deliver excellent customer service to our guests. The candidate must be well spoken, polished, and demonstrate warmth and grace with staff and visitors. He/she is hard-working and a self-starter.

The ideal candidate will offer the following skills and qualities:

• Serving experience
• Interpersonal awareness; thoughtful relationship management and influencing skills; highest level of honesty and integrity
• Strong work ethic, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills, including utilizing email for work related communication
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to speak in front of people
• Reception work, like answering of phones and confirming reservations
• Cleaning duties with opening and closing tasks, cleaning and polishing glasses and other basic business duties
• Manage and track inventory
• Basic food service skills and must possess a "sense of urgency"
• Ability to multi-task & function independently without constant direct supervision
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Signing up Wine Club Members, providing excellent customer service, and asking for the sale.
• Provide an educational, fun and positive tasting experience.
• Ability to operate a POS system, handle cash and close out sales at the end of the workday

Must be 21 or older, able to lift & carry 40 to 50lbs periodically, and stand for extended periods of time

*Must be able to obtain an OLCC service permit and adhere to OLCC laws and guidelines for serving and selling alcohol*
*Applicants must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays. *

*part time with potential for full time come summer hours*

*Tips and bonuses allow for employees to make upwards of $20-$30/hr.
