The Task Force General Manager (TFGM) is responsible for the efficient operation of the property as measured against the established budget, while maintaining guest service standards. This is a traveling role and requires the ability to travel with little notice to other states for extended periods of time. Prior experience in limited and economy service background is preferred.
Guest Relations:
· Meet with and solicit comments from guests regularly to determine guest satisfaction with services and facilities.
· Monitor guest feedback and take appropriate and timely action according to company policy.
· Take steps to ensure the greatest guest satisfaction possible within budgetary constraints.
· Ensure the security needs of the guests, staff, and property are met.
· Ensures all team members know area attractions and services to accommodate guests’ needs.
Operations:
· Responsible for the protection of company assets.
· Manage property revenue and expenses to maintain or exceed budget.
· Inspect studios and public spaces daily according to the Clean & Safe program brand standards.
· Ensure all team members are trained to act according to procedure, in the event of an emergency or accident.
· Ensure all policies and procedures are accurately followed at all times by all team members.
· Deposit revenue intake daily to the appropriate banking institution as determined by the company.
· Administration of accounts receivable ensuring all accounts are up to date according to company policy.
Sales & Revenue:
· Executes the lead management process and completes all sales and marketing objectives as established by the Area Manager.
· Manage all target and key business accounts to ensure the highest possible revenue gain.
· Develop and maintain rapport with lead sources to maximize revenue gain.
· Review Studio Inventory daily to ensure maximization of studio revenue.
· Maintain effective sales of ancillary offerings to accommodate guests’ needs and maximize revenue.
Personnel:
· Review and approve property payroll according to company policy and procedure.
· Ensure proper selection and retention of all property staff.
· Ensure training, coaching, counseling, and engagement of all team members.
· Conduct annual personnel performance appraisals for all direct reports.
Education:
· High school diploma or equivalent, or General Education Degree (GED). Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Economics, Marketing, or other business related field preferred.
Experience:
· 2 or more years of experience in a management or leadership role (hospitality, retail, food service preferred)
Knowledge:
· General understanding of common office/front desk procedures
· Basic business management practices
Skills:
· Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
· Intermediate computer operation including but not limited to accessing data from the internet
· Effective communication with staff and guests
· Effective conflict management
· Effective negotiation and sales skills
