Job description

Job Summary:

The Human Resources Recruiter is responsible for overarching recruiting for potential ABHS staff and talent resources including job postings, attending community job fairs and events, establishing, and supporting internal and external business relationships, screening/interviewing/assessing candidates, managing recruiting budget and interacting with diverse individuals and constituents. This position requires the ability to quickly acclimate to ABHS’ organizational structure, the positions within and familiarity with standard employment laws and procedures.

Responsibilities:

· Process job requisitions.

· Coordinate with hiring managers in determining the best recruiting process for open position(s).

ABHS Benefits:

· Act as liaison between employment agencies and advertising vendors for HR departmental and recruiting needs.

· Communicates value of ABHS employment including employee benefits and compensation.

· Screen candidates, summarize attributes, establish availability and send summary plus resumes to hiring managers for review.

· Seek out and attend community events to support ABHS’ business needs including job fairs, college/university career/hiring events, cultural/heritage activities and other opportunities to advance and increase ABHS’ presence as a top employer in the area.

· Track and evaluate turnover/retention statistics and work with HR leadership to develop high value retention activities as well as identify managers in need supervisory leadership training/remediation.

· Track and evaluate hiring timeframes including date/time/method (phone, email, text) contacted, if/when candidate response received, date/time/method hiring manager contacted candidate, etc. Identify trends and gaps/delays in recruiting timelines.

· Send weekly hiring activities tracker to HR leadership and facility hiring managers and summarize results.

· Participate in exit interview evaluation to identify positive/negative trends and assist in developing improvement plans/processes to reduce turnover and increase retention.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent required, associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

· Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Ability to work in face-paced, corporate healthcare environments with competing priorities and timeframes.

· Must be able to work effectively as part of a team and individually.

· Must be able to interact with individuals from diverse cultures and varying educational/communication levels.

· Excellent relationship management skills

· Able to accurately track, analyze and synthesize hiring metrics.

Working Conditions:

· Moderate noise (corporate office setting)

· Routine local travel as well as occasional travel throughout Washington state to attend hiring events and work with local facility staff and leadership.
