Talent Acquisition Specialist

The Talent Acquisition Specialist consults with hiring managers to recommend strategies for identifying and recruiting potential candidates for Wedgwood’s direct care positions. They perform the full-cycle recruitment/hiring process.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaboratively consult with hiring managers to recommend strategies for identifying and recruiting potential candidates.
• Proactively creates talent applicant pools through posting and advertising jobs through professional associations, churches, human services organizations, colleges/universities, etc.
• Look for and participate with the Wedgwood Talent Acquisition team for Job Fairs, and other recruitment events.
• Review resumes, invite qualified applicants to apply via applications both internal and external, perform phone screens and lead in-person or virtual interviews with hiring manager(s), provide testing when necessary to determine the best qualified candidate(s).
• Work with the Lead Talent Acquisition Specialist in calculating compensation.
• Formulate, write, and deliver offers describing full compensation and benefits.
• Create proactive recruitment plans, including analysis, to ensure a diverse candidate pool and success for hiring especially hard-to-fill positions.
• Help maintain HRIS Systems and reports.
• Assist residential audit process.
• Participate in regular recruitment and HR Team meetings to collaborate.
• Provide back-up to others on both the Talent Acquisition and HR team. This may include assisting with hiring for other areas of Wedgwood, developing advertising/postings, reference and background checks, credentialing, audits, etc.
• Complete special projects as assigned by the VP of Human Resources.
• Responsible for timely Quality Assurance compliance as related to employee’s roles and functions.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree, emphasis in Human Resources, preferred.
• Prior experience with job screening, electronic applicant tracking systems, social media platforms, hiring practices, and Talent Acquisition preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Excellent computer skills working with Microsoft Office Products.
• Successful record of excellent performance and collaboration with others.
• Ability to work as a team as well as work independently in a fast-paced environment required.
• Subscription to the Statement of Faith of Wedgwood Christian Youth and Family Services and agreement with the goal, purpose and objectives of the agency.

HOURS OF WORK: Monday- Friday, 40 hours

COMPENSATION: Salary $47,600- $53,500 based on applicant experience
