- Performs Talent Acquisition activities for assigned job requisitions, including, but not limited to, identifying candidates to fill new and vacant positions; managing the interviewing process, inclusive of candidate screening, selection decision making, job offer creation and drug screening; initiates the process to guide newly hired colleagues through the onboarding process to ensure colleague acclimation and retention.
- Understands the recruitment delivery process and carrying out activities accordingly to ensure that account KPIs are met.
- Provides professional advice and open and honest feedback to candidates in a timely manner and in accordance with recruitment best practice.
- Collaborates with HR Leadership and utilizes established compensation tools and guidelines to determine compensation offers.
- Coordinates with HR, hiring managers and marketing on strategies for career fairs, informational sessions, or other similar events in order to communicate the employment value proposition, develop relationships and establish candidate pools.
- Consults with Human Resources Coordinator for onboarding activities related to background and reference checking; new hire processing; internal transfer processing; responses to inquiries from the hiring team, internal and external applicants, executives, managers and colleagues, and collecting and maintaining applicant data through the applicant tracking system.
- Keeps apprised of and leverages leading Talent Acquisitions practices, e.g., use of social media). Develops and executes a proactive, innovative, cost-effective recruitment/sourcing strategy to target a diverse pool of qualified applicants for vacant positions.
- May perform advanced sourcing including social media, internet, and data base mining; develops relationships with professional organizations, colleges and schools, community agencies in order to identify and recruit a diverse slate of candidates for all positions.
- Conducts cold and warm calls to passive candidates to present opportunities for critical, difficult, and visible positions.
- Supports acquisitions for purposes of planning and integration of Talent Acquisition
- May support and participate in system wide sponsored special projects and initiatives, or portions of larger projects and deliverables.
- Maintains knowledge of The Care Team current employee benefits, salary structures, etc. Provides candidate information related to culture and benefits, which promotes The Care Team as the employer of choice.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration / Human Resources Management or relevant field
- 1-3 years experience in end-to-end recruitment in Home Health and Hospice (or related Healthcare industry a plus)
- Understanding of sourcing methods and strategies
- Prior experience conducting behavioral-based interviews for a variety of roles.
- Successful experience managing multiple searches, and stakeholders, at different stages of the recruitment lifecycle at the same time.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Prior experience in using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Ability to write client-oriented communications e.g. emails, job descriptions.
- Solid understanding of HR processes and system with excellent IT user skill and an affinity to HR IT
