Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist

This newly created role within our Talent Acquisition team will partner with the Sourcing Manager, Employment Branding and Social Media Specialist and Recruiters to innovate, develop and implement cohesive, comprehensive and multi-faceted candidate and subcontractor sourcing strategies. You will facilitate process improvement and be an integral part of building our developing Talent Acquisition function. In this role, you will be a brand ambassador, effectively representing our values, culture and career opportunities to potential hires. You’ll work closely with hiring managers to fully understand job requirements and team dynamics and identify candidates whose skills, experience and professional goals are closely aligned with what we have to offer.

Requirements

• Understanding the ongoing hiring needs of the business and establishing the right sourcing mix to generate a strong pool of talent for open roles.
• Conducting proactive candidate searches and building talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Engaging with passive candidates to drive knowledge about and interest in Advocate Construction.
• Screening and evaluating candidate profiles and resumes to assess qualifications and fit for specific roles.
• Conducting initial candidate interviews and assessments to determine suitability for specific positions.
• Drafting & publishing attractive job advertisements and managing responses.
• Reaching out to target talent via social networks.
• Leveraging job boards, industry contacts and hiring platforms to source talent.
• Designing & conducting engaging talent outreach campaigns.
• Analyzing sourcing data and metrics to optimize procurement processes
• Managing applicant tracking systems and maintaining accurate candidate data
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet sourcing needs and providing regular updates and reports on sourcing activities and outcomes to stakeholders
• Keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices in talent sourcing and recruitment
• Travel up to 25%

Key experience and qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications in sourcing, TA, or HR are a plus.
• A proven track record of at least 6 years in talent sourcing and recruitment, preferably in a field-based, multi-stakeholder environment; sales or construction industry experience is a plus.
• Experience in a dynamic, high-growth environment requiring a self-motivated, high-energy approach.
• Proficiency in utilizing various sourcing channels, tools, and platforms to identify and engage potential candidates.
• A strong ability to assess and evaluate candidate profiles to ensure alignment with job requirements, company culture, and values.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills and experience facilitating change with stakeholders.
• Experience using data analytics and metrics to measure the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and drive continuous improvement.
• Ability to adapt to changing hiring needs, priorities, and market conditions while maintaining a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
