Job Description
Purpose of Position:
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will be responsible for the full life cycle recruitment of Del Monte’s Fresh Produce trucking and logistics business.
Accountabilities:
- Support / recruit candidate sourcing efforts and track market recruiting trends.
- Maintain job postings, requisitions and recruitment data.
- Manage the proper administration of team member employment files and documentation.
- Generate reports on talent and other related metrics, when needed.
- Conduct regular team member employment file audits to verify compliance; participate in annual program audits.
- Support Talent Acquisition processes by scheduling interviews and conducting reference/background checks.
- Conduct candidate screening and secondary interviews, as well as exit interviews, when needed.
- Support the new hire onboarding process, including paperwork and I-9 processing.
- Schedule and conduct new team members for the New Hire Orientation program.
- Respond to team member inquiries regarding talent polices, programs and practices.
- Assist with position management and report building, as needed.
- Contribute to a positive, engaging work environment.
- Develop a strong knowledge base and stay current on job-related issues and trends.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, training and education, as well as the quality process.
- Comply with CHS’s code of conduct, policies, procedures and other obligations.
- Assist with training other team members and providing back up when necessary.
- Pick up projects on the fly; perform other duties as assigned from time to time.
Minimum Skills Required:
- A degree in human resources management, and/or 2-4 years experience in an Talent Acquisition
- Prior experience in Talent Acquisition or human resources or handling confidential information.
- Excellent computer literacy skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of job posting sites and professional social media platforms such as LinkedIn.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Team Player
Preferred:
- Knowledge of using an Applicant Tracking System- ATS
- 2 years experience in a Human Resources department
- Bilingual- English and Spanish
