Job Title: Systems Engineering Intern
Location:This position is based in our Campbell, California offices, on-site & full-time. Imperative Care does not provide relocation or additional housing compensation for the summer internship.

What You’ll Do:
We are looking for a talented Systems Engineering Intern to be an integral part of the Telos R&D team. Are you interested in developing innovative, robotic-assisted technology to transform the way ischemic stroke is treated? This position works individually and with the team to assist in the development of a novel neurovascular robotic system.
- Define various proofs of concept to aid architecture evaluation in collaboration with more senior team members.
- Draw from your technical background to ensure delivered features meet system and clinical requirements. Evaluate different designs to find optimal system level solutions.
- Design, plan, and execute laboratory experiments to evaluate system performance and feasibility of concepts.
- Review test data against established acceptance criteria and write appropriate test reports.
- Solve technical issues by troubleshooting and determining root cause.
- Participate in brainstorming and suggest new ideas and improvements pertaining to design and process.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
