Systems Engineer - Corporate

Position Summary:
This position reports to the Ryan Specialty Group (RSG) Systems Engineering Manager and is responsible for designing, installing and maintaining RSG's enterprise infrastructure including Active Directory, Azure, Exchange Online, data backup, production servers and an extensive virtualization infrastructure. We are seeking a proven Systems Engineer with a strong technical foundation and a demonstrated ability to design and support sophisticated network infrastructure and manage systems.
Essential Functions:

• Design, manage, and maintain on-premise as well as Azure Active directory and Group Policy
• Design, manage, and maintain Microsoft Endpoint Manager
• Design, manage, and maintain MacOS MDM Solution
• Design, manage, and maintain the local and wide-area network infrastructure for all RSG locations, manage telecom vendor relationships and actively monitor/trouble-shoot network and telecom issues to provide maximum availability of data and telecom networks.
• Design, manage, and maintain network accessibility options including virtual private networks, remote desktop access gateway, and secure wireless networking.
• Provide a stable and responsive server environment that supports all the needs of the business and our application development and support teams.
• Support in-house Exchange 2013 server farm and the migration to Office 365 Exchange Online
• Work with the Systems Engineering Manager to create redundancy for all key infrastructure systems. Work with the application support teams to provide the infrastructure required to create application redundancy for our key business applications.
• Work with Systems Engineering Manager to establish an appropriate monitoring environment for all key systems to allow IT team to detect and resolve issues as fast as reasonably possible.
• Work with the Systems Engineering Manager to design and maintain a growing VDI infrastructure.
• Work together with the Information Security team to design and maintain a secure environment.
• Work with the IT Team to Design, manage, and maintain authentication and external identity provider solutions.
• Design and execute processes for successful integrations of acquisitions
• Maintain technical documentation for supported systems.
• Provide technical training and knowledge transfer to junior team members.
• Participation in an on-call rotation schedule as requested

Education/Experience/Skills:

• BS in Management Information System, Computer Science or a comparable technical degree.
• Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience with enterprise networks, email systems and telecom systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft server operating systems, Cisco networking equipment, Citrix Xendesktop, VMWare, Office 365/Azure AD administration, and Intune/SCCM/WSUS or equivalent experience is required.
