System Engineer CIW + Closures

Location : Lisle, IL (Onsite)

Resource requirements for CIW + Closures:

· Working experience on design & development of below aggregates includes but not limited.

o CAD parametric data creation in UG/NX, Criteria section development,

o 2D drawings, Active participation in CFT review meetings,

· Project management & Resource mgt, should be conversant with design requirements DRD’s, Dfmea/pfmea, DVPs, DSAO, weight/cost targets, country specific requirements & regulations etc.

· Material knowledge, GD&T, Vehicle architecture, cost reduction Ideas.

· Good communication skills (oral and written).

· Should be flexible to work at Client site & ready to work in any shift including US shift.

· Hands on experience in below aggregates:

o CIW: Underbody (Floor/Under floor structure), Side panel assy, Back panel assy, Roof assy.

o Closures: Door assy, door mechanisms/linkages, Seals design

o Sheet metal design, specifically Stampings, Press-brake parts, Die/Press technology.

o Forming simulations / draw simulations, method plan preparation, part try-outs etc.

o Sheet metal stamping processes, joining techniques and joint design best practices.

o CAE tests/load cases for CIW/Cab application (G-load, Modal, Virtual shaker, static/dynamic analysis etc.) best practices for Water management design

o Testing & Validation activities of CIW/Cab application, welding processes, Fastening methods.
