Understands business processes, process analysis/management, and IT requirements and IT managed services. Works with Sr. System Analyst to drive definition of requirements, optimization, continuous improvement, and approved changes to new and existing business processes and IT solutions via development of business processes and functional/technical requirement. Ensures the IT Outsourcer is meeting delivery expectations and SLAs. Assists the Sr. System Analyst in design, development, and distribution of reusable technical components to streamline development delivery processes. Works within the continuous delivery framework to contribute product feature breakdown and story creation and execution with development vendor resources and integration resources.
Position Responsibilities
- Participates in Program Increment planning and preparation, sprint planning, product demos, and other Continuous Delivery ceremonies to ensure timely execution of deliverables as prioritized by the portfolio product managers and business owners.
- Works with Sr. System Analysts and Product Owners to develop workflows and diagrams for applications.
- Prioritizes requirements with the Product Owner, Sr. System Analyst, and Architect.
- Participates in daily standups and validates business and technical requirements are met during the project delivery process
- Works with product owner and scrum master in identification of roadblocks, risks, or other potential concerns with sprint of PI Plan success
- Oversees IT Outsourcer service management (problem management, issues escalation, and change management)
- Assists with the design, build, and test applications, and provide maintenance support
- Works with Sr. System Analyst to provide basic design documents and translate into component-level designs
- Assist in developing technical documentation and participates in test-plan development, integration and deployment
- Assists with Sr. System Analyst in developing detailed technical specifications and designs for projects / system enhancements
- Assists Sr. System Analyst in the development of operating procedures and user manuals for transition into routine operations
- Oversees and provides guidance to IT Outsourcer for application administration, development, configuration and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Assist with tracking and influencing IT Outsourcer service performance and escalation
- Proactively communicates status of IT effort and incidents to key business stakeholders
- Assists with the resolution of incidents and break fix tickets
- Assists with build and deployment of small enhancements
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree Required (Computer Science, MIS, or other degrees) or equivalent on the job experience
- 2+ years in Information Technology or relevant experience
- Basic understanding of architecture concepts and methodologies.
- Basic working knowledge of SAP application platforms and their application
- Basic understanding of infrastructure platforms and their application
- Ability to define and lead a simple project plan
- Experience working with an outsourced vendor
- Working knowledge of SAP AP, AR, and Master Data
- Experience working within a developing team inside of SAP’s framework
- Working knowledge of basic coding principals in at least one development language, preference for ABAP, but other equivalent knowledge is acceptable
- Ability to travel up to 10% annually
- Hybrid work schedule with 3 days onsite in Omaha every week: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
