The primary function of the Associate Accountant is to assist the Workday Financials Product Manager in overseeing the implementation, design, integration, functionality, and administration of the Workday financials product and related systems while business partnering with the finance and technology teams in driving positive change management, user adoption, and overall project success.
- Develop and document system controls and business processes to ensure optimal configuration and security
- Contribute to the design and testing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and settlement modules
- Aid in general ledger design and maintenance
- Participate in unit testing and data validation
- Lead data entry processes at varying times throughout the project
- Support user trainings to drive positive change management
- Collaborate and partner with project team members across the organization to meet project deadlines
- Gain experience in a world-class financial management solution
