Statement of Purpose: The System Administrator under the guidance of the Supervisor, IT System Administration/Networking develops and maintains the integrity and security of all operational systems. Provides advice, training, technical support for various projects. Functions as security advisor to upper management.
Qualification:
Education: College degree in IT related discipline or in another discipline with 3 years of system administration experience.
Certification / License: Certifications such as A+, Networks +, MCSE, MCP, CCNA, computer science, system administration, application development, specialty programs or other applicable certifications
Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of highly responsible and verifiable experience in an information technology environment as a system administrator where applicable skill sets were acquired an/or utilized.
- Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, and strong GPO experience required.
- WSUS and Windows patching.
- Windows Server 2012+ build and support.
- Experience with VCenter 6.7 and above.
- Experience with Citrix and Virtual environments. PVS familiarity preferred.
- Microsoft Exchange.
- SAN familiarity.
- Imprivata, Cisco UCS experience, and experience with PACS Radiology systems all plus.
- Experience in project coordination and multitasking.
