Responsibilities
Peraton is adding a System Administrator. This position will handle a variety of responsibilities including: configuring, monitoring and maintaining Red Hat Linux operating systems in a dynamic, virtualized environment. A successful candidate will ensure that all servers operate at optimum levels. This person should have In-depth technical knowledge to be individually responsible for the design and scope of deliverables within a field of expertise. The qualified candidate should be comfortable working in a team environment and willing to work flexible hours. On-call and after hours support is a requirement of this position.

Target Salary Range
$51,000 - $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

- Handling Data Center Operations with Business & Mission Critical applications
- Handling escalated incidents or high critical tickets
- Predicting Risk/Impact and Participating in Major Changes
- Reporting, Performance and Capacity Planning
- Able to work with Vendors and Developers to implement application requirements
- Technical Transition & Documentation skills
- Design, Migration and upgrading of existing infrastructure
