Position Summary:
The Systems Administrator III leads the planning and implementation of server-side architecture across cloud and on-premise data centers. In this role you will collaborate with trusted partners and technology leaders to establish a hybrid solution which prioritizes a secure and consistently accessible environment for our associates and clients, all while advancing our strategic objectives. This is achieved through regular verbal and written communication with leadership and peers to ensure project delivery and team goals. The System Administrator III fosters innovation through research, designing resilient solutions, automating processes and peer guidance. This is not a remote position. Candidates must be able to work on-site in Sioux Falls, SD.

What will you do:
Accountabilities
Project/Process Leadership Accountability (PLA)
Lead with clear direction, providing the necessary tools to delegate and elevate for growth and development of teammates.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives and projects related to System Administration.
- Provide leadership with the ability to delegate, motivate and empower teammates to turn initiatives into actionable and accountable behaviors.
- Maintain a results-oriented mindset, setting goals and holding teammates accountable for reaching them.
- Ensure all processes have clearly documented procedures.
- Responsible for training new hires and cross training existing staff on new processes and procedures.
Infrastructure
Perform infrastructure implementation and maintenance.
- Recommend and test any vulnerabilities, misconfigurations or other issues found as needed per internal review or audits.
- Promote subject matter expert knowledge of both on premise and cloud computing. Work with trusted partners and IT leadership to design, secure, backup and operate a modern hybrid solution.
- Streamline user accounts and assets and update security permissions on the network according to security policy.
- Enhance workflow by designing, deploying and maintaining process automation.
User/Server Administration
Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, and resource monitoring.
- Revise, add and remove users from Microsoft admin center.
- Update licenses and reset user passwords from Microsoft admin center.
- Design and maintain VMWare to ensure VM server performance and stability.
- Design and deploy complex solutions for Exchange, O365, DHCP, etc.
- Forecast and promote troubleshooting problems within the VMWare environment.
- Examine and recommend updates to the virtual environment.
Qualifications
Secondary education in Computer Science or related field preferred. Four or more years of relevant work experience with OS & virtual environment or a combination of education/experience that would enable incumbent to meet accountabilities and required competencies of the position. Experience with Microsoft Windows Server solutions, SQL, VMWare, SRM, SAN configuration, and server security monitoring applications (such as Langaurd, Nessus) required. MCSA, MSCE, VCP or other computer-science certification required or must be able to attain within a reasonable amount of time.
Skills and Abilities

- Excellent working knowledge of VMware ESX.
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft Windows and Active Directory.

- Demonstrate self-starter qualities and effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
