System Administrator In Healthcare I.t. Department

Madison Regional Health System is seeking a full-time System Administrator in Healthcare to be a part of the Madison Regional Health System mission: Committed to providing quality healthcare, close to home.

Our System Administrator in Healthcare is an essential part of our IT team and is responsible for installing, operating, and providing support for the network infrastructure for a hospital and clinic medical facility. The System Administrator will also assist the technical service group with supporting the computers, software, security, and telephone system. Requirement of a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or other information technology related field. Prior related work experience in a healthcare setting preferred. This position will require a high level of attention to detail, customer service, problem solving skills, great telephone etiquette, professionalism, and the ability to multi-task in pressure/stressful situations.

The working conditions will be in a clean, well-lighted area, with sitting majority of the shift and frequent repetitive motion of the hands/wrists involved. The System Administrator in Healthcare works eight-hour shifts, Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. with occasional evenings and weekends and participate in an on call rotation.

Full-time positions come with Madison Regional Health System's benefits package and a competitive salary. MRHS offers retention pay to individuals who have worked at the facility for greater than one year. Madison Regional Health System employees receive a discount at the on-site cafeteria. Shift differential occurs 6pm-6am Monday-Friday, weekends, and holidays. Cell reimbursement is an added benefit for this position.
