Position Overview
The Systems Administrator is part of a high-performing team that delivers cohesive solutions on Cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SharePoint, Teams Microsoft Intune. Other system administration responsibilities include a cloud based contact center and field service management system. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth operation of our Cloud Based services and provide local help desk support for our local team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design workplace solutions, maintain and improve the security and compliance posture of environments, monitor system health, and troubleshoot issues
- Provide expert level administration and configuration in Microsoft Office365 Azure and Intune
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of best practices, and feature enhancements in Microsoft 365, closely knitting technology solutions to the business needs.
- Provide front-line technical support to end-users on various IT-related issues, including hardware, software, and network problems
- Set up and configure workstations, peripherals, and mobile devices
- Train users on IT-related topics and best practices
- Maintain documentation and knowledge base for common issues and resolutions
- Monitor and optimize Office 365 performance
- Collaborate with third-party vendors when required for hardware and software maintenance
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in Office 365 administration
- Familiarity with cloud-based services and technologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with local help desk support and end-user troubleshooting
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies
- Teamwork approach, enthusiasm, and a strong desire to succeed!
