About you:

The Staff Accountant is responsible for various accounting functions and supports the Accounting Manager to ensuring required financial records are maintained. The position reports directly to the Accounting Manager.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of previous financial and accounting experience required preferably in the health care field.
• Demonstrated computer skills and competency in general ledger functions, Excel, and other accounting software required.
• Demonstrated analytical, verbal, and written communications skills required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Completes monthly bank reconciliations and maintains detailed deposit log.

· Responsible for the general accounting and bookkeeping functions that support the Accounting Manager.

· Assists with the monthly closings and general ledger functions.

· Completes monthly Balance sheet reconciliations.

· Assists in the preparation of financial reports for internal and external reporting purposes.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.
