We are seeking a Senior Staff Accountant for a key client of ours in Newark, NJ. This position is 100% remote now, but do expect an occasional visit to the corporate offices in Newark, NJ on a monthly basis. This is a temporary position lasting 3 months only. The primary responsibilities of this Senior Staff Accountant position are Intercompany billing process, and SEC intercompany reporting. Also:
- Preparation of complex bank reconciliations in Blackline.
- Assist with month
-end and quarterly closing by preparing various journal entries in SAP Blackline. - Respond to inquiries from the internal and external auditors and address other ad hoc requests.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in similar roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA designation is a plus.
- Demonstrated communication skills (verbal and written).
- Demonstrated ability to apply and follow job related policies and procedures.
- Proven analytical and problem
-solving skills. - Persistence needed in order to resolve problems quickly.
- Ability to work independently in team
-oriented culture. - Ability to work in a fast
-paced environment.
