- Perform sonographic procedures. (No surprise there!)
- Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history.
- Create reports to assist the physician with documentation.
- Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule-out patient/fetus anomalies.
- Communicate sonographic findings to physician.
- Provide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis.
- Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery.
- Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance.
- Cover a variety of clinical settings, including outreach clinics, which may involve extended commute times.
- Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs.

- Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited educational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty
- Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN specialty
- Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
- Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
- Able to communicate effectively with physicians, clients, and team members
- Able to remain calm in emergencies or patient distress
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future.
- 1+ year(s) high-risk OB and or MFM sonography experience
- Registered in Fetal Echocardiogram (FE)
- Credentialed in Nuchal Translucency, Nasal Bone, and Cervical Length
- Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study
