System Analyst

Title:System Analyst (remote)

Location: COLUMBIA, South Carolina

Remote Work Availability: 75%

DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

The client is looking for a Systems Analyst to join their team and play a crucial role in implementing and supporting various Public Health systems and technology initiatives. The individual will be responsible for ensuring that systems are set up and supported according to industry best practices, complying with federal and state regulatory laws, and ensuring business continuity. The candidate should be self-motivated, team-oriented, and able to work under limited supervision while responding to priority tasks.

REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):

1. Knowledge of Information Technology Field, best practices, organization, and operations
2. An aptitude for learning new skills and applying knowledge to solve complex problems
3. Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
4. Excellent Customer Service skill and application support
5. MS OFFICE (WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, VISIO), MS SHAREPOINT
6. Experience in system analysis and information technology
7. Experience with security and data classification related to CDC, HIPAA, and CJIS
8. Flexible and easily adapts to changing priorities
9. Ticketing System

PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):

1. Ability to establish positive working relationships with technical staff, customers and others involved in data-centric management.
2. MICROSOFT VISO
3. CREATING REPORTS USING SYSTEM DATA
4. EXPERIENCE WITH INDUSTRY-STANDARD INFORMATION SECURITY PRACTICES

REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field of work or equivalent work experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
