The Central Registration Specialist is responsible for entering accurate and complete demographic and insurance information into the Medic/Nextgen system and verifying insurance benefits as well as the collection of co-pay's and outstanding balances.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Prior experience as a Medical Receptionist preferred. Minimum 1 year experience in customer service. Computer experience required

Required Experience
- Minimum of 1 year office experience with demonstrated effective communication skills and proven organizational and interpersonal skills preferred.
- One year or more medical billing experience.
- Medical office experience preferred.
- Understanding of the paper and electronic medical record filling systems.
- Able to multi task in a busy atmosphere.
- Telephone experience required.
