Switchboard Operator (Full Time)

The Central Registration Specialist is responsible for entering accurate and complete demographic and insurance information into the Medic/Nextgen system and verifying insurance benefits as well as the collection of co-pay's and outstanding balances.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required

Prior experience as a Medical Receptionist preferred. Minimum 1 year experience in customer service. Computer experience required

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year office experience with demonstrated effective communication skills and proven organizational and interpersonal skills preferred.
• One year or more medical billing experience.
• Medical office experience preferred.
• Understanding of the paper and electronic medical record filling systems.
• Able to multi task in a busy atmosphere.
• Telephone experience required.
