The Senior Vice President of Talent Management and Transformation is a key leadership position responsible developing and executing a holistic Talent Management strategy that aligns with SBM Management's values and business objectives to transform the HR department into a Talent Management forward organization. You will collaborate closely with HR, Operations, and Leadership teams to create a culture where employees feel valued, fairly compensated and are accurately and regularly ranked and rated based on performance and value to the organization. Your primary focus will be attracting, developing, and retaining top talent while fostering a positive work environment and driving initiatives that support employee well-being and growth. Implementing innovative programs and policies will ensure that SBM Management has a high-performing and engaged workforce.
Responsibilities:
- Build, inspire and lead a team of employee engagement, talent, and organizational development professionals
- Ensure creative and innovative HR systems, tools, and practices are in place to identify, interview, select, orient, train, develop, motivate, reward, and retain company employees. Including training, management learning journey, performance management
- Assess, develop, and implement business partnership practices and initiatives to support our existing operations, using our 4Insite tools to accelerate and meet our plans for rapid growth, including employee development, Onboarding experience, Offboarding experience, succession planning and recognition.
- Leverage best practices to design, develop and implement an integrated competency-based Talent Management strategies that incorporates the entire leadership development lifecycle: leadership and executive development, succession planning, career development, effective organizational design, formal training, experiential learning, and performance management.
- Develop and manage an effective compensation strategy through all level of the organization.
- Develop a structure that can sustain and scale to support the business’s goals and strategy.
- Ensure consistency in approach and leads team in the development, improvement, and execution of efficient, effective employee engagement processes through technology and innovation.
- Forge strong relationships with key leaders to develop and implement processes for identifying and addressing critical organizational development needs, leadership competency and gaps in leadership competency or professional capability.
- Lead the talent development team to conduct needs assessments, then develop and implement a broad range of impactful development and learning opportunities to address identified needs through a variety of delivery channels that will support and enable our employees' development.
- Develop a plan for continuous review and improvement of talent development offerings and resources in support of and aligned with our business strategies, leadership principles, competencies, and culture.
- Improve leadership tools such as performance management documents, performance improvement plans, coaching, 360 reviews, exit interviews and employee development.
- Provide executive-level coaching and work with leaders to create development plans.
- Facilitate succession planning and talent review with particular emphasis on high potential and emerging talent to ensure a well-qualified and diverse talent pool for key positions.
- The ability to generate and implement new ideas for engaging and informing staff.
- Responsible for org chart transformation as company scales into its next growth phase.
- May require travel.
Qualifications:
- May be required to have a valid driver’s license.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience (10+ years) in a leadership role focused on employee development, employee experience, culture, or related areas.
- Must have track record of successfully implementing employee development and experience initiatives and driving positive cultural change, (i.e., training, L&OD, succession planning, onboarding, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of employee experience trends, best practices, and industry standards.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in data analysis and utilization of HR metrics to measure the impact of employee experience initiatives.
- Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, build strong relationships, and foster a collaborative work environment.
Compensation: $300,000 - $350,000 per year
Shift: Full time
